Christmas at Dovedale Baptist Church.
We all like dressing up. We put on our glad rags for Christmas parties to look our best.
We go to fancy dress dos in all sorts of crazy costumes. We love to see the children dressed up for nativity plays.
We like to “dress” our homes and our Christmas trees to create that Christmas feel and the magic of the season.
But however we dress up Christmas, Jesus Christ is still at the heart of it. The word Christmas starts with the word Christ. Without Jesus Christ there would be no Christmas and nothing to celebrate.
At Dovedale Baptist Church we’re just ordinary people like you who want to celebrate this Jesus Christ at Christmas and throughout the year.
Our services are welcoming and informal, and this year you can have your photo taken for free in our stable scene, dressed up in nativity costumes!
You don’t need to dress in any special clothes to come to church. Come as you are, and celebrate Christmas that starts with Christ.
